The aim of the Clinical Skills Competency exam is to assess the clinical competence of participants. During the two-day NDECC, candidates are needed to perform 7 dental procedures on simulated patients (manikins) in a clinical setting. Participants must perform all procedures as if they were working with real patients. Participants are required to use their judgment and follow accepted clinical care guidelines/standards. The 2nd day is the Situational Judgement Exam where the Examinees will be going through 10 different stations to show their ability to interact diagnose and make decisions in a Clinical/ situations seen in day to day Clinical Practice.
